Follow through to know exactly.
WHERE WISDOM COMES FROM
Wisdom comes from understanding knowledge.
To be wise, you need to know. And to know, you need to learn. To learn fast, get a teacher or mentor.
You can’t be wise on your own. Life is simple when you don’t complicate it.
Isaac Newton said, "If I have seen further, it is by standing on the shoulders of Giants." (1965).
Learn to always learn from people who’ve gone ahead of you. That way, you’d avoid needless errors.
Secondly, you need to understand what you know. This happens when you constantly practice what you’ve learnt.
Deliberately meditate on things you learn. Do that consistently. And that’s where the common sense, insight, experience and expertise come in.
Finally, if you’d be wise, you’ll learn to consciously apply your understanding - a product of what you know already - to different practical situations that play out in your life. That, really is wisdom in the real sense of it.
So, where then does wisdom comes from?
FINAL NOTE
Wisdom comes from an in-depth understanding of what you know. How much you know isn't wisdom.
It's first about how much you understand what know. And how much you apply it practically in your daily life.
Hence, knowledge plus understanding equals wisdom.
